This workshop is designed for people willing to deepen their practice safely, learn proper alignments of asanas, and build a solid foundation in their yoga knowledge. During 5 days, our teachers will guide you to get a better understanding of your body, your mind and your potential. You will explore different techniques to improve your yoga practice with structured yoga asanas classes, balance your mind in meditation sessions, and control your breath with pranayamas. You will also learn the fundamentals of Yoga Philosophy and Ayurveda, walking out of this workshop with a deeper knowledge in Yoga, and a new approach to your own practice

What to expect from this Yoga Workshop in India

This 5-day yoga workshop in Varkala is a short and intense training, offering an immersive experience designed for students who want to deepen their physical practice and refine their technique. Whether you’re an intermediate practitioner, a yoga teacher, or someone who has already completed a TTC but wants to revisit the foundations, this workshop is a perfect for you.

Each day includes:

• Morning and evening asana classes: focused on specific themes: forward bends, backbends, twists, balancing poses, and hip openers. These classes will cover detailed alignment and technique breakdowns to safely succeed in challenging postures.

• Daily pranayama, yoga nidra, and meditation sessions : to support your breath and inner awareness. These dedicated moments will help you to bring that inward focus in your practice, even after the workshop.

•3 days of yoga philosophy and 2 days of introduction to Ayurveda, offering insights into yogic wisdom and holistic health. You will learn how a real Yoga practice looks like, and explore new levels of self awareness and healthy lifestyle.

Asanas classes

You will have morning and evening Asanas classes, at 8 am and 4 pm. Our teachers offer structured asanas classes and guide you through traditional Hatha Yoga and Hatha Vinyasa Yoga. They will help you challenge your body to explore advanced Asanas, with hands-on adjustments. You will learn biomechanics and applied anatomy, so you can understand how to work on your flexibility and your strength safely and efficiently on your own. Our Asana teachers will teach you how to listen to your own body, so you can make the difference between your physical and mental limits. Each Asana class will focus on one theme, taking the time to open or strengthen one area of your body, and to go deep into one topic at a time.

Morning Pranayama & Evening Meditation

Explain breathwork and relaxation techniques,
Pranayama will be your first class of the day. You will explore different breathing techniques, the science behind them, their benefits, and how to practice them. The breathing exercises are a very important part of yoga practice. You learn how to control your breath, whether it is on your mat during asana practice, while doing meditation sessions, or even in your daily life. Pranayamas will help you regulate your nervous system, bring your inner awareness back, and find balance between your body and mind.

Yoga Philosophy & Ayurveda Sessions

3 days of philosophy, 2 days of Ayurveda intro,
You will attend one lecture class a day. The Yoga Philosophy teacher will hold 3 classes during the workshop, introducing the principles of a Yogic lifestyle, the roots of Yoga and how it has evolved from ancient times till now. Your teacher will engage in some debates around different subjects, so you can learn about the 8 limbs of Yoga. The Ayurveda sessions will take place for 2 days, so you can explore the gist of this holistic medicine. You will learn about how you can find balance between your body and mind thanks to Ayurvedic living, a very ancient practice that you can combine to your Yoga practice for a healthier lifestyle.

The Workshops will be held for 5 days, starting on Monday morning and ending on Friday evening. We offer two different packages: All-inclusive package and the Non-residential package.
